Absolutely fantastic! Everything we ordered was amazing tonight. We had the Kimchi & Spam Fried Rice (very spicy but worth the pain,) Cold Noodles (did not expect the portion size,) and the Beef Kimbap. Fantastic service. Luckily we arrived right before the crowd did. Definitely give Chan Chan a try!

I was craving Korean fried chicken, specially the sweet garlic wings, as I reminisced the first time I had Chan Chan's last year in-store. The take-out order did not disappoint and definitely hit the spot! The pictures are self-explanatory but the extra layers of juicy battered chicken wings (so crusted looks like chicken tenders) was decadent and I savored every bite of it. The banchan helps cut the grease of the wings, but they lacked flavor/not my cup of tea. Small 8 wings I believe is $29.09 including tax and the large 16 wings is $37.72 including tax. As someone growing up eating Albertson's and KFC fried chicken the Chan Chan wings are wicked expensive (granted there's inflation) but they are wickedly delicious too worth it imo. Tip: if you're going to order via phone/online know that it takes about 20-25 minutes for it to be ready. Consult with your stomach beforehand so you can time it right lol

BETTER THAN BONCHON!!!! I said what I said. The chicken here is amaaaaaaaAzing! So perfectly CRONCHY and juicy! I've been here a million times and have never gotten a bad batch. They don't have as many flavor options as bonch but that's cool, the ones they do have still rock my socks. The chan Chan kimbap is my absolute fav! They're perfectly stuffed and rolled lil blunts of deliciousness. Yum. Their dukbokki (squid one) is also phenomenal and we order it every time. If you want ya some kfc (iykyk) then get it from here. Brb gonna go order some Chan Chan.

Came here so many times I lost count. It locates in a huge plaza with many other stores, so parking was never an issue. Food is consistently good, both quality and quantity def worth the price. - Kimchi and Spam Fried Rice: 4.5/5. Complex taste of sourness, saltiness and a lil bit of chilies kick to it. - Rose Ricecake/Teokbokki: 4/5. The sauce is so good, but ricecake was a little bit soft. - Kimbap: 5/5. The biggest kimbap i've ever seen lol. It has the perfect balance between rice and filling, dipping with the house sauce even better. No reservations, waitlist through Yelp or in person.

5 Stars for the Grilled Beef Kimbap!!! Located in the Daiso/Mitsuwa shopping center in Irvine, there's plenty of easy parking. When you walk in, there's a kiosk if you want to order to go. If not, you can dine in with table service. It's a no-frills, open and modern space that caters to local students and families alike. Service was good- not overly friendly but prompt. On our first visit we ordered the kimbap- While we waited I decided to check in on Yelp and saw all of the reviews about it and my expectations skyrocketed... It took a minute, but when our order came we were shocked at how pretty it was (lol)! The roll itself is huge in diameter- I was trying to figure out how I was going to eat it but was distracted by the unusual colors of some of the ingredients. Usually I pick out picked radish and burdock in kimbap but decided to try everything and an SO glad I did- it was so, SO good! The quality of the beef and freshness of the veggies was beyond your normal take out kimbap- so delicious! We were so impressed by the kimbap we visited again and tried the spicy rice cakes and ttokbokki- they were good as well but the star here was again the kimbap! Definitely give it a try if you're a kimbap lover like me.

We came in this shopping plaza for my sisters birthday and everything was about an hour wait and we found this spot which was around 20 minutes and i'm so happy we landed on this spot! We got one of the combos, i can't remember which one but we all this food with it, chan chan wings, spicy pork kimbap, spicy seafood noodles, and the rose rice cakes and we added corn and cheese. All plates were spectacular everyone had different favorites but mine was definitely the spicy seafood noodles, the broth was rich and the seafood in it was delicious! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come again.

Fantastic food and service for an unbeatable price. We got the large chicken tenders with the sweet garlic sauce on the side (must try!) and the grilled kimbap. My favorite was the fried chicken as it comes out piping hot with a light batter so it doesn't feel too greasy. Recommend getting the sauce on the side so you can dip the chicken in for the perfect amount of sauce. The grilled beef kimbap was also delicious and each piece was huge.

This place is a MUST to go when you guys in the area. Starting from menu, everything looks delish, me and my husband were absolutely 'overwhelmed' with the good varieties. We ended up choosing the pasta coz curious on how does it taste and you guys!!! The noodles's texture is sooo perfect added with the good creamy gochujang make the taste way better. While Chan Chan Kimbap were cute and tasty. The only suggestion is to put main ingredients on each menu as we were making the wait staff busy upon order time, LoL Lastly, portion is massive!

My mom loves Chan Chan's kimbap so we drive from Torrance all the way to Irvine occasionally to satisfy her Kdrama cravings. There was no wait on a Sunday afternoon but you can add yourself to the Yelp waitlist via the app, which I recommend checking out before you head over because sometimes they have a substantial wait. Our waitress was really kind and made sure to check in on us constantly. My parents like to ask lots of questions and she didn't seem bothered by that. We ordered an 8PC sweet garlic chicken (not pictured, grilled beef kimbap, spicy and sweet tuna kimbap, and kimchi and spam fried rice. The 8PC chicken fit my family of 4 because the wings were big! There was a lot of breading but I like the type of breading they use at Chan Chan. The kimbap was delicious- the grilled beef was my favorite. I wish they added more beef inside but that may just be a personal preference regarding my meat to rice ratio. The kimchi fried rice wasn't super spicy and it was yummy. Overall, the food was pretty heavy hence the 4/5 but we had a good amount of leftovers. There's a huge parking lot and lots of dessert places in the area! There were lots of families eating at Chan Chan so you know it's good.

Every time I'm in line for orobae (next door) I can't help but smell the food from here. I stopped by on a Tuesday at 9 - their last call for food is 9:30. You order at the front. Their menu was a bit confusing (to me) for the wings. You can do two sauces if you order the large BUT they put the sauces on the side instead of tossing the wings in the sauce. If you want it tossed in the sauce, you can only get one flavor. But honestly it works out for me since it's easier to reheat sauce-less wings. The korean fried chicken here is HUGE!! 100% worth your money. Can't go wrong with other dishes like tteokbokki or kimchi fried rice.
